From trips to museums and college campuses, to Career Day & guest speakers, Colleton County High School has been providing many opportunities for the students to learn & grow. The students of CCHS are taking advantage of the many events to help shape & guide their future.

Colleton County High School held its 2024 Graduation ceremony on June 1, 2024, at Cougar Stadium. 303 students received a high school diploma. The Class of 2024 graduates earned scholarships totaling over $7,081.179.00. Three graduates received the South Carolina Academic Honor Award. This award has not been received by a student at CCHS since 2018. Fourteen students received a USC-Salkehatchie Associate Degree through the Early College Program. One graduate received a Dual Enrollment Associate Degree. Eleven Class of 2024 graduates have enlisted in the military. CCSD Class of 2024 had 15 Distinguished Honor Graduates (4.9 and higher cumulative GPA) and 29 Honor Graduates (4.5 – 4.89 cumulative GPA). Family and friends filled the stadium to overflowing capacity to congratulate these awesome seniors!

Thursday, May 30,2024, saw fourteen graduates attend their graduation and cross the stage to receive their General Equivalency Diploma. The graduation ended a school year of challenges faced and overcome and a look toward the future. Congratulations CALC graduates of 2024!
