Media Specialists Attend State Conference
Media Specialists from Nassau County—Ms. McNeill (WNHS), Mr. Thompson (CIS), Ms. Crump (HES), Ms. Porter (YMS), Ms. Thompson (FBMS), and Ms. Perry (YHS)—recently participated in the FAME Media Specialists Conference in Orlando, joining nearly 600 colleagues from across the state. The conference featured 81 sessions, covering topics such as AI in Education, Empowering Students with Learning Differences, Collaborating with Students, and Fostering a Culture of Literacy and Engagement. Attendees had the opportunity to learn, network, and even meet some inspiring authors.

Career Readiness Workshop Prepares FBHS Students for Success
Students from Fernandina Beach High School’s Career Experience Class visited the CareerSource Northeast Florida center in Yulee, participating in a career readiness workshop. They explored topics such as hard skills, soft skills, teamwork, workplace behaviors, coworker interactions, and interview preparation, gaining valuable tools for their futures.
