James & Nellie Westlake Scholarship-(Full Tuition + 2000.00 for fees, books & supplies)-Due Feb 1, 2025
Applicants to the James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship Program must:
- Be Missouri residents.
- Be graduating seniors at Missouri high schools who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study for the entire upcoming academic year at an accredited four-year college or university*. OR Be students who have completed one or two full years at a Missouri community college with sufficient credits to transfer to an accredited four-year college or university at the sophomore or junior level, respectively.
- Demonstrate limited financial resources with a family-adjusted gross income of $60,000 or less and an expected family contribution toward college of $7,000 or less.
- Have at least a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale except community college applicants with one year transferable credits must have 2.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide educational funding assistance to an African American female who is passionate about furthering her education to help create a better place in the community, home life, and work environment. This is a one-time scholarship in the amount of $500. The recipient of this scholarship must attend a college/university in Fall 2025. The scholarship will be awarded upon verification of enrollment for the fall term.

CPS Katheryn "Kay" McLeod Scholarship for Future Educator (2500.00)-Due Feb 19th, 2025
- Applicants must be a high school senior at a Columbia Public Schools high school (Battle, Douglass, Hickman and Rock Bridge).
- Awarded to one graduating senior at each of the four CPS high schools.
- Applicant must be interested in pursuing a degree in education from an accredited two- or four-year institution.

Carter-MacLellan Make-A-Difference Scholarship (1500.00)-Due February 19th, 2025
Carter/MacLellan Make-a-Difference Scholarship purpose:
To emphasize the importance of volunteer leadership and assistance in making a difference in the quality of life for others.
To recognize a student who has demonstrated initiative and dedication in a volunteer role without need for recognition.
Carter/MacLellan Make-a-Difference Scholarship eligibility: one scholarship will be awarded at each of the four public high schools.
Qualifications:
- Graduating senior at a Columbia Public High School
- A citizen of the United States and resident of Boone County
- GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Excellent attendance
- Accepted in an accredited post-secondary education or career training program

Mary Paxton Keeley Elementary Scholarship (500.00)-Due Feb 27, 2025

The Paxton Keeley PTA offers a $500.00 (Five hundred dollar) scholarship to congratulate our former students on their graduation from high school. The money is intended to be used for their continuing education in college or technical school. The applicant must have attended Mary Paxton Keeley Elementary School for at least one full school year during their Kindergarten-5th grade years.
Stephens College Muriel Battle Premier Scholarship (Full Tuition, Room and Board)-Due February 28, 2025
The scholarship will assist a young adult in pursing post-secondary education. Recipient selection will be based on the following criteria:

Rock Bridge Lions Club (1000.00)-Due February 28, 2025
Four deserving graduating senior students who are attending Columbia Public Schools (Battle, Douglass, Hickman, and Rock Bridge) will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to assist them in their post-high school education at a technical, trade, vocational school, or community college (with an emphasis in technical certification) with a physical location in Missouri.
Muriel Battle Scholarship (Tuition assistance)-Due February 28, 2025
Each year the Columbia (MO) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta offers a scholarships to a deserving member(s) of the Delta GEMS Program and students within our service area of Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cooper, Howard, and Randolph counties. The scholarship will assist a young adult in pursing post-secondary education. Recipient selection will be based on the following criteria:

Candidates for this scholarship are limited to sons and daughters, grandsons and granddaughters, great-grandsons and great-granddaughters of a United States wartime veteran or service member who served during one or more of the periods of war officially designated as "eligibility dates for membership" in The American Legion from 4/6/1917 to the present.
Minnie E. Brown Scholarship (500.00) -Due March 1, 2025

Blue Thunder Track Club Scholarship (1000.00)- Due April 25, 2025
This $1000 scholarship is available to any senior who is a current member of their schools track & field and/or cross country team and a current or previous member of the Blue Thunder Track Club. The applicant must demonstrate leadership, hold a gpa of 3.0 or higher, and be involved in school and community activities. In addition to this application, you will need to submit the following items:
* A copy of your high school transcript
* A copy of the letter of acceptance from the college or university you will/plan to attend
* An essay explaining how participating in track & field has prepared you for success in life

Willy Wilson Scholarship
Degree-seeking student with previous theater experience, either onstage, backstage, or on technical or production teams. Plans future involvement, in any way, in some aspect of community theater.

PEO International Scholarship
The scholarship will go to a senior woman in the Columbia Public Schools who will start her freshman year in the fall of 2024 at an accredited postsecondary institution. The recipient must excel in academics, leadership, and service to her community. She must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Shelly White-Horsley Memorial Scholarship- Blue Thunder Track Club
This $1000 scholarship is available to any senior who is a current member of their schools track & field and/or cross country team and a current or previous member of the Blue Thunder Track Club. The applicant must demonstrate leadership, hold a gpa of 3.0 or higher, and be involved in school and community activities. In addition to this application, you will need to submit the following items:

* An essay explaining how participating in track & field has prepared you for success in life
Jenny Bradley Scholarship
Columbia, Missouri high school seniors. Must have participated in an extracurricular in high school for at least two years. Accepted into two- or four-year college/university. Applicants with financial need will be given priority and those involved in volunteer work will be given strong consideration.
B. Davis Scholarship
This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic below: Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.
Bigsun Athletics Scholarship
The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.
Flourish Technical & Trade Scholarship Application
We are looking for people who are passionate, results driven, and eager to learn, we have a few requirements that need to be met in order to be eligible:
-Member of an underrepresented racial or ethnic marginalized community
-Pursuing a Trade/Technical/Certificate Program within 30-miles of Boone County
-Between the ages of 18-22 years old at the time of applying
-U.S. citizen by date of award
-First generation & non-traditional students are strongly encouraged to apply!
