👀Principal's Peek at the Week👀
Hello Slater Nation!
This week was the final musical performance of the school year. Mrs. Adams and Mr. Marcalinas did a wonderful job preparing the students for a fantastic performance. We are very proud of the huge strides the FHU music program has taken over the last 2-3 years!
Please join me on May 21st to discuss and give feedback on the development of our "Portrait of a Graduate" (see the flyer below). Your input helps us align what we value most for each of our students as they work toward graduation.
We are also excited to hold our 2nd Annual Multi-Cultural Food Event (see flyer below) on May 22nd. Please contact Jin-A Chang if you would like to donate a dish. We are interested in foods from every background to give our students a fun way to explore culture and diversity.
Lastly, the Slate Valley School Board has finalized the last student day for June 14th (half-day). Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding any of our end-of-year events.
Have a great week!

Portrait of a Graduate
April 30th at 5:30 PM
The "Portrait of a Graduate" is a statement that captures what we value as a community for every student that graduates from FHUMHS. It is a living and breathing document that is reviewed and adjusted over time. FHUMHS is currently updating it Portrait of a Graduate and needs your help! On May 14th and May 21st at 5:30 pm, we will be holding in-person community forums to gather thoughts and ideas from all of our stakeholders. This will be an opportunity for our community members to give feedback on the draft statement found below. Please feel free to review the document on your own and send your input to Ben Worthing at bworthing@svuvt.org. Thank you for supporting our students!
