News:
Hello!
It's eclipse day! The district has released additional guidance in THIS DOCUMENT. Since the eclipse is during recess, we are required to be on Inclement Weather schedule.
Please make sure you read this document completely. You must notify admin if you plan to watch the eclipse. This will help us with parent questions about the event.

New Information
PD Tip of the Week
One of the walkthrough form questions is "What differentiation/scaffolding do we see?" Modifying the difficulty/level of a question is a way to differentiate and include more students in class discussions.
For example, in math you can differentiate the complexity of word problems by assigning one step problems to some students and multi-step problems to others. Challenge advanced students by having them create their own multi-step problems to exchange with a peer. In reading, you can utilize tiered questioning to vary the DOK level and focus on meeting students where they are as well as challenging students with higher level questions. For example, if you call on a student to compare and contrast characters within a story and they are struggling, ask for the student to identify traits of one of the characters as a starting point.
NewLine Project Survey
I received this from the NewLine people. There is a link to a staff survey they would like you all to take at the bottom of this note.
Thank you for allowing our team to service your site. As we usher in a new age of classroom technology to ensure the future success of our students, we would like to express our appreciation for your accommodation and understanding of the logistics of the Interactive Flat Panel upgrade project. We’re committed to consistently providing the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction. If you could, please take a moment to complete our short survey linked below. This will allow us to coordinate any remaining device removals and address any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
We would like to ask if you would please also share this survey with your teachers, as their feedback is also valuable for our project, and the success of our students.
Should your devices require any service, please submit a CA Service Desk or HelpDesk ticket to the USS-CTS Group so that we may provide prompt service to alleviate instructional downtime.
Thank you again for your support.

If you have lesson plans in Curriculum Engine, you will need to save those plans as they will not be accessible after June 30. Remember, it is your responsibility to maintain lesson plans for 3 years (Regulation 6122.)
