The Fruit Scoop!
November 2024
Message from Mr. Fournier
During this holiday season, many families like to give a gift to their child’s teacher. Your generosity is appreciated, but I would like to offer an alternative. A note expressing your thanks, a picture from your child, or donation in the teacher’s name during our Bangor Day food collection is a very appropriate gift. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season.
As the snow starts to arrive, it is important to use extra caution when dropping children off or picking them up after school. Please make sure to come down from the upper playground at dismissal to pick up your child or children. As the snow starts to accumulate, it will be harder for the teachers / staff to see the parent or adult picking up the student, so by coming down to the upper playground it will provide a better visual for the teachers / staff. The students who go out as walkers will remain close to the back gym doors to ensure their safety at dismissal.
Please remember to dress your child or children appropriately for morning and lunch recess. We do keep on hand a few items of winter gear when children forget their gear at home.
If weather conditions cause the cancellation of school, it will be announced on the Bangor App, email, phone and media outlets.
