No Limits Nebraska had a wonderful 2024! We have a dynamic youth leadership team in place and they are ready to take down Big Tobacco here in Nebraska! This team represents a large portion of Nebraska. From Chadron, to Freemont and to Omaha, the team will be planning and putting togehter Take Down Tobacco Day events for their school and their local community. Be looking for information in spring of 2025 as we will be recruiting for new members and we would like to expand our team of 5 to at least 10.

Nebraska Total Care, one of Nebraska's Medicaid options, collaborated with Ranae with No Limits Nebraska to bring Nebraska Total Care members and the public, awarenes on the topic of Tobacco Prevention & Cessation. Did you know that one in 25 Nebraska high school students first tried cigarette smoking (even 1-2 puffs) before the age of 13? While this is the lowest since 2016, this percentage needs to get to zero. Nearly two-thirds of tobacco using students have tried to quit (64%). Learn more on this topic! This Vaping 101 course will overview the youth e-cigarette epidemic, effects of e-cigarettes & laws, strategies to support your child, signs your teen may be vaping, talking with your child about vaping, tools for cessation and for tobacco change. This video may be shared to ALL Nebraskans! If you are a school or agency that fields questions from parents about the topic of vaping and emerging tobacco products, this is a resource you may share far and wide!
