MESSAGE FROM MICHELLE STEWART
Dear Families,
I want to take a moment to reflect on the special place that Happy Valley is. Each child and family creates the magic that allows us to educate our students in a beautiful environment. Not only do we get to learn in a serene and gorgeous setting, your participation and involvement make all of the difference. Thank you especially for your patience with all of the construction this year. I brag all the time about the attitude of our students in having to use porta-potties the entire year. What a testament to their resilience and perseverance.
As we wrap up and say good bye to many of our students and beloved staff, we are already looking forward to a new year with exciting changes. I am so proud of each of our students, and wish you a very happy summer!

MESSAGE FROM KET CONWAY
Dear Happy Valley Families,
I was so overwhelmed with your generous retirement gifts and gift cards. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness.
It has been such a pleasure to be involved with this school for the last 18 years. Watching your children develop their artistic, musical, intellectual and caring skills has made me proud to be part of their education.
Childhood is so brief and hopefully the successful stepping stones and encouragement they receive through their classroom curriculum and the art & music program at our school has set a solid foundation for years to come. I am so appreciative of the strong parent club that has supported the art and music department all through the years. The Arts are what make the human spirit grow and this school district has developed healthy children because of this deep understanding.
It is sad to be leaving but I am not sad knowing that I shared a part in developing bigger thoughts about how the arts promote the human psyche and bring deeper meaning to our lives.
May the future hold nothing but success for all the children/families of Happy Valley and all their endeavors. You have filled my heart with great artistic achievements, funny stories, sometimes curious behavior but always much love.
Thank you again for your generous gifts and support over the years,
I will miss you all,
Best,
Ket Conway

Dear Happy Valley Families,
As I prepare to close this wonderful chapter of my career, I want to extend my deepest thanks for the incredibly generous and thoughtful retirement gifts you gave me. I was truly touched by your kindness and the time you took to celebrate this milestone with me.
Teaching at Happy Valley Elementary has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Your gifts—and your warm wishes—mean more to me than I can express.
Thank you again for your generosity and for sharing your amazing children with me. I will carry these memories with me into retirement with great affection and gratitude.
With heartfelt thanks,
Melinda
