To sign up for track students need a current physical on file. If they have a physical from a previous sport, they will need to make sure it has not expired and you will need to change your athlete's sport to Track.

Signup Process

3. Click on FinalForms Registration Process or New MSHSAA Physical Form if need a form
4. Sign digital documents
5. Choose Track as your athlete's sport

In preparation for this Spring’s annual state MAP testing as well as the spring NWEA benchmark test, I want to share with you the testing window for SLMS early, in hopes of giving you sufficient notice and the ability to schedule appointments around your child’s testing. Below is an overview of our planned testing dates:

• Dates: April 10-19
• 6th Grade: ELA and Math
• 7th Grade: ELA and Math
• 8th Grade: ELA, Math, and Science
• Testing Sessions: Approx. 8:30am-10:20am each day
• NOTE: 8th grade students taking the Algebra EOC (May 1,2) will do so during their regular Algebra class time that will be extended to accommodate testing)
• Spring NWEA Testing:
• Grades 6-8: May 6-10 (final daily testing times TBD)

In order to ensure that transportation needs are met, we ask that you follow the below processes for end of day transportation changes:

• If you need to communicate a transportation change with a student, we ask that you notify the main office prior to 3:00pm. This allows us time to reach your student with the message, as students begin dismissing at 3:13pm.
• It is difficult to check students out between 3:00pm-3:15pm, as many activities occur during SOAR at the end of the day, and students are often moving between locations in the building. In order to ensure that you are not waiting, or late to appointments - please pick up your student prior to 3:00pm if you need to leave before 3:15pm.
• If you need a one-day bus pass for your student to ride home with a friend on a different bus - we need written permission from both families prior to 1:30pm the day of in order to arrange this with transportation. Written permission can be emailed to courtney.mitchell@lsr7.net.

We appreciate all your help and understanding in helping to ensure that all of our Falcons have a safe and timely dismissal.

Lunch and Breakfast and NOT FREE.

• If you choose to bring a home lunch and choose to get something in the cafeteria those items will be charged at the register, for example sides (ie..fries, cookies, bread, fruit) those can all be purchased individually.
• If you are purchasing a meal in the cafeteria some items are considered part of the meal. If you purchase a meal and exceed the 3 side limit those items will be charged individually as well.
