Homecoming Info

DANCE

Date: Saturday, October 5

Time: 8:00pm-11:00pm

Location: Energy Fieldhouse

Tickets are on sale before and after school in room 120 (McClure).

Only juniors and seniors are permitted to bring out of school guests. Forms are located in the office and must be signed by Mr. Caughlan before guest tickets can be purchased.

***Once a student leaves the dance, there is no re-entry.

***No heels during the dance.

Homecoming Coat Closet

Art Club is happy to announce they will once again run a coat closet during the Homecoming Dance. Students may store their jackets, purses, and other personal belongings with Mrs. Gentry for $1.00 during the dance. Bottled water will also be available for purchase for $1.00. All proceeds will help purchase supplies for Art Club.

ACT Opt Out Form

The state of Ohio will pay for one ACT for any interested Junior on February 25, 2025. This test is given during the school day and will go from approximately 7:30-11:30.

Please complete this form ONLY if you do NOT want your student to test.

Coat Drive

The high school is accepting coats of all shapes and sizes that will be re-distributed to students. If you have a coat to drop off, please bring it to the high school office.

Indoor Track Meeting

There will be a brief informational meeting on Thursday, October 10th at 2:45 in the high school theater for anyone interested in joining the indoor track and field team. If you have any questions, please email Coach Thayer at kthayer@mvcsd.us.

Bowling Meeting

Anyone interested in Mount Vernon Bowling this winter, there will be an informational meeting on October 9th at 2:45 in the Theater. If interested, please come to the meeting to get information about open bowls and the season start dates.
