SOS Cooks Needed!
Once again this year, we will be preparing home-cooked meals for homeless families in our area through the Lighthouse (SOS) family shelter program. The dates we will be cooking are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, June 16th, 18th, and 20th.
We can use 8-10 cooks and food preparers on these dates from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and a few drivers from 2:00 - 4:00 to deliver the prepared meals to the shelter in Pontiac. All the ingredients will be purchased ahead of time, and the meals will be prepared in our church kitchen. Look for sign-up sheets in the Lakeview area today.
Thank you and God bless you for your willingness to serve the less fortunate in our area

True North VBS Donation Tree Update
Thank you to all those who have participating in our VBS donation tree. We would like the whole church to be part of our Vacation Bible School this summer by donating food and supplies that the children will be using throughout the week. Perishable food items will not be needed until the week before VBS.
Please drop off donations on or behind the Welcome Desk or in the Church office.
Thank you for your part in making True North VBS an unforgettable experience for the kids.
Great news!
We have close to 40 kids registered to attend VBS 2025 and we are anticipating that more children will register before the registration closes. As such, we are in need of at least three more crew leaders and other volunteers given our increased numbers.

Bible Study & Devotional
How big is your God? This is a rich, meaningful study for anyone desiring to know God and themselves better. You can have no higher goal nor greater joy than to know God personally. And you cannot begin to know Him intimately until you know Him by name.
Author Mary Kassian reveals fascinating insights about 35 Hebrew names of God that
describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. Saturated in scripture, we’ll learn the significance of each ancient word. Chapters consist of names of deity, character, power, authority, splendor, intimacy, and sufficiency.
The 8-session study includes brief daily homework with enjoyable and engaging activities. We’ll discuss the homework lessons in class. Books will be available at our first class. If you will miss some classes because of summer, join us whenever you can. You’ll be awestruck by the Lord’s magnificence and your heart will be compelled to worship and praise Him.
Don’t miss this opportunity to “Knowing God by Name”. Invite friends too.
Please contact Bonnie Horner at bnnhrn@yahoo to sign up.

Digital Communication Specialist
At the May Session meeting, the Elders approved a position description for a part-time position, "Digital Communication Specialist". A complete rendering of the position description may be found by clicking here.
The Elders believe that this position will allow the congregation to reach many who are physically near the church but have no knowledge of our mission, ministries, or the joy we know in serving together. A winsome digital presence is crucial to reaching those who are unchurched. Please share the news of this new position with friends and family.
