PDP
My apologies for not sharing the building PDP goal sooner. You have access to our building PDP goal. Thank you for your patience regarding this matter.
On Wednesday, 9/25, we began confiscating Cellphones, earbuds, and headphones from students in the hallway. If you interact with a student and they are not compliant, please inform Alicia, Tom or I and we will address the student. TOGETHER we can make sure our procedures positively impact our student body.
Mini-Meetings
Our 1-on-1 mini-meetings/interviews continued this week. I'd like to thank all those I had the opportunity to meet with this week. My goal with our mini-meetings is to get to know more about our faculty and staff, as well as our school. So far, I have met almost 60 members of our faculty. I look forward to meeting with more people in the coming weeks. The mini-meetings will be 10-15 minutes. Our meetings will be a good opportunity for you to share ideas with me as well.
Schedule your 1-on-1 mini-meeting/interview with me. We will add more dates next week.
Attendance Policy & Regulations
There have been some questions regarding the new attendance policy and regulations. More information will be forthcoming as soon as I can.
Dunkin Visits PHS on October 2!
Getting back in the school groove can be tough after a long, well deserved summer break, which is why High School Nation is giving back-to-school a boost with a special free campus visit from Dunkin’! Our lunch events bring a burst of excitement and build campus culture, setting the tone for an unforgettable year ahead. During lunch, all staff and students get to enjoy free $5 gift cards, along with fun lawn and table games, and Dunkin’ Refreshers! The visit is part of a larger program where we're hoping to help get teens in the habit of having breakfast in the morning to fuel their body and their mind. We'll see you at lunch on Wednesday, October 2.
PEP Rally
Our Fall Pep Rally will be Thursday, October 10. We will share a schedule soon. We will use a schedule similar to the one we used for Class Meetings. Also, we will use this as an evacuation drill (weather permitting).
FOR FUN
There are so many food options in Paramus. Have you been to this place yet.
