CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Albertville Primary School has partnered with the Hanover Area Food Shelf to aid in their toy and mitten drive. The Hanover Area Food Shelf collects and distributes donations to serve the needs of families residing in Albertville, St. Michael, Hanover, Rockford, Loretto, and Greenfield.
To help us with this worthy cause, please send new unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages birth to age 18, as well as hats and mittens.

Albertville Primary School is honored to invite Veterans to join us for a special ceremony in recognition of Veterans Day. We will hold an all-school Pledge of Allegiance and flag-raising outside the main entrance at 8:15 AM on Monday, November 11.
We warmly welcome all Veterans to attend and participate in this meaningful event. If possible, please wear your military attire to help us celebrate your service. We look forward to honoring our Veterans together.
Bright Beginnings Preschool/Early Childhood Programming Survey
As we strive to enhance preschool programming in our district, we are looking to identify key areas for improvement and input to inform future programming decisions. The Google survey form located below, is a way to capture feedback. One survey per family. Survey completion is due by November 15th, 2024. THANK YOU for your input!
ILLNESS and KIDS
Help us keep all of our students healthy!
We are very fortunate to have a nurse on staff here at
Albertville Primary. At Bright Beginnings we try to adhere to the same rules as the entire district. Occasionally we may have an “epidemic” of a certain illness due to the age of our students and the tendency to place things in their mouths. Please do not send your child to school if they have had a fever, diarrhea or vomiting in the past 24 hours.
Please remember, if your child is diagnosed with COVID-19, Croup, RSV, or Strep, please EMAIL your child's teacher to report their absence.
Parents and/or emergency contacts will be called in case of illness at school.

WINTER CLOTHING
Winter is officially almost here!
All students need to bring snow pants, boots, hats, waterproof mittens, and a warm winter coat everyday to school.
*Please note: All Day preschool classes will go outside for recess each day, unless the temperature or windchill are zero degrees or below.*
INCLEMENT WEATHER
· STMA has a mass notification system that will call and email you regarding school closings or late starts.
· Parents who have ParentVue accounts are encouraged to verify email and phone numbers.
· School closing information will also be announced on local TV stations 4, 5, 9, and 11.
· Every effort will be made to sustain regular hours and programs. If busses can operate, schools will be open. Schools will close only if it is too cold to start busses or if roads are impassable.

STMA Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Information
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) recognizes that parents are their child's first and most important teachers. ECFE offers parents hands-on learning experiences that will nourish a lifetime of teachable moments.
All ECFE classes are taught by licensed early childhood teachers and parent educators to provide the quality educations parents are looking for. ECFE teachers use the Parent Education Core Curriculum Indicators of Progress: Minnesota's Early Learning Standards provided through the Minnesota Department of Education.
