Meet the Library Staff!

Hello! My name is Wei, and I am the Director of Campus Library Services. Many of you probably already know me: I visited hundreds of classes in the past nine years at Middlesex. Working closely with you is the best part of this job. If you need help with research topic ideas, peer-reviewed journal articles, or citations, I am here for you! Did you know that the library lends laptops, hotspots & calculators to students? My name is Lisa, and I've been the Digital/Systems Librarian at Middlesex since 2019. Some of my responsibilities include cataloging all new library items, such as print books, electronic books and databases, and library equipment. I configure and maintain the digital resources available at Middlesex. Did you know that through the library you can access to over 100 databases? I also work at the Info Desk ready to help you with your reference needs. In my free time, I love to go walking, work on art projects and see my favorite bands.

Hi! I’m Rachel Hess, the library assistant at Middlesex. I hire and train the students who work here at our front desk. I also take care of the purchasing in the library whether it's helpful databases you will use for your classes, textbooks on reserve, or office supplies. I was a student at MxCC and I feel great now I get to be a part of a such an awesome team!

Hi, I’m Lauren O’Neill, EA Librarian here at Middlesex. I work at the front desk and via chat answering questions from students. I also visit classes and teach students how to find information and access library resources. In my free time, I enjoy reading, with my favorite genres being fantasy and science fiction. I also enjoy writing, and I’m currently working on several fantasy stories that I hope to publish soon. I’m grateful to have joined such a great team, and I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hi! I’m Donovan Reinwald, a Reference and Instruction Librarian here at Middlesex. I teach classes about how to use the library and its many information resources. My favorite part of my job is working with students. I always love helping out with research projects and seeing the passion and creativity that goes into them. I’m the subject liaison for the Humanities and Social Sciences, which means if you need help with research for your English 101 paper, I’m your go-to guy!
