Greetings Parents and Stakeholders,

Check ins went well last week. We will have make ups next week for students who missed their Check ins last week. Many 4th Graders will take a National test on Thursday February 10, 2022. Students who are taking the test were notified in January. We are looking forward to the DARE Graduation for 5th graders on Friday February 11, 2022. The doors to the gym will open at 12:45pm. We are giving out 2 Tickets to every graduate to keep our numbers low. Thank you for all you do for E.J. Hayes: Where Relationships foster Learning.

• March 1-3 - 3rd graders visit the Martin County Innovation Campus
• March 3 - End of 4th 6 weeks
• April 7-8 - 4th graders visit the Martin County Innovation Campus
• May 5-6 - 5th graders visit the Martin County Innovation Campus
• April 29 - End of 5th 6 weeks
• June 9 - Last day of school (students will be released at 12:45pm)

The cafeteria will now offer two main entree dishes each day. Students will choose which main dish that they would like in the mornings during announcements.

Revisions to the Student Dress Code (4303) were approved during the January 25, 2022 work session of the Martin County Schools Board of Education. Please note the revisions to the policy and keep in mind all students will be expected to adhere to the updated policy.
