Rugby - Summer Squad 2025
Preparing for 2025 - Over the long weekend, our Rugby Summer Squad for 2025 didn't go on holiday, they worked! Day 1 was sprint/ fitness testing, followed up by a fundraising working bee, ripping up the old turf from the outdoor courts. This was an incredibly physical, and exhausting mission, but the boys were commended for their perseverance and dedication to get the job done.

120 Year Celebration Dinner
On Saturday 26 October Valley D'vine Restaurant, owned by Old Boy and Chef Greg Miller, in Eskdale, hosted about 90 Old Boys who enjoyed an evening to celebrate 120 years of our school. It was a wonderful occasion and it was heart-warming to see our Old Boys catching up with their friends from their school days. Prior to the event we gathered in the hall and then took a tour around the school to look at all the new projects and many of the Old Boys mentioned that the big old tree near the cricket nets was still standing tall. There was a hearty rendition of our school song before we boarded buses to take us to Eskdale.
The HBHSOBA also launched its brand new website at the dinner! Click on the link below. We have an online shop for merchandise so do go and have a look.
The big reunion for all students - Old Girls and Old Boys will be our 125 year celebration in 5 years time.
