Summer School 2025
If you (or your child) needs to make up credits, summer school is the best time to do this. Please see the Summer School Flyer - 2025 for more information.
AP Testing
AP testing will take place during the first two full weeks of May, and there’s a lot of important information to keep in mind this year. These documents provide everything you need to know, from the exam schedule and what to bring on test day. It also includes key details about attendance requirements and transportation to help ensure a smooth testing experience. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the DEM counselor Rachael Zelmanski at rachael.zelmanski@romeok12.org.
Seniors: Be sure to check out the Class of 2025 section towards the bottom of the newsletter.
Mental Health Awareness Week
May 5th-9th is Romeo Athletic Advisory Committee's Mental Health Awareness Week! We invite everyone (at both RHS & 9GA) to participate in it and take time to really talk to one another about mental health!! Please see the attached flier for the spirit days & special events. Don't forget to write something on the "inspiRe walls" on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and get your green pin to wear all week. We will be sharing on the @romeo_raac instagram and tiktok more information about this week, what exactly Bead Day is, and ways to get involved. Remember, you are never alone and there is an entire school and community here for you!
Reminders
Prom 2025 Guest Passes
Seniors: If you would like to bring a non-Romeo student to Prom, you must have them complete the RHS Guest Pass. The guest pass must be completed and returned to the main office by Thursday, May 22nd at noon. No exceptions!
Homecoming 2025 - Save the Date
For the 2025-2026 school year, the Homecoming football game will be on Friday, September 26 and the Homecoming dance will be on Saturday, September 27. There was discussion (and even a survey sent out) about considering other dates for the dance to avoid conflicts. Unfortunately, there is no perfect date and there are conflicts regardless what weekend was chosen. So, the date of the dance will remain the day after the Homecoming game as it traditionally scheduled.
Romeo Wrestling is holding their 1st Annual Golf Outing! The team would like to invite you to join their event on Saturday, May 17th.

Spring PSAT and SAT Scores
Please review this letter regarding the upcoming release of Spring PSAT and SAT scores. Information on accessing results through student College Board accounts and links to help families understand their score reports are included.
2025-2026 FAFSA Form
The 2025-26 FAFSA is open. All current seniors planning to attend college should be working with their parents/guardians to complete this online application. The FAFSA form connects students to various forms of Federal and State financial aid programs. FAFSA is required for most State of Michigan financial aid programs, including the Michigan Achievement Scholarship. For example, students who complete the FAFSA will have access to free community college tuition through Michigan’s Community College Guarantee, which has no income criteria. Students can complete the FAFSA at StudentAid.gov. For additional information about the FAFSA, please visit our FAFSA resources page. The state of Michigan also offers helpful online presentations that families may register for.
