Hello Birch Community!
This coming Tuesday, October 1st, is our annual October Count Day. Here is info from the Co. Department of Education regarding what October Count Day is and why is important to have your student attend school that day if they are able:

We understand this day is also the start of an important religious holiday and students that are unable to attend this day or that will need to leave early will be excused. If your student is sick or can not attend school for any other reason, please let the school attendance office know. Otherwise, please do your best to have your BullDog to school this day, on time, for the full day.

BVSD Showcase Wednesday, October 9

This Fall, BVSD will once again offer a one-stop shop for students and families to learn more about everything its schools and district have to offer. Whether new to the area or just curious about BVSD, all are invited to the CU Events Center on Wednesday, October 9 from 5-8 pm during the BVSD is the Place to Be Showcase .
Representatives from all 56 schools will be in attendance, as well as Enrollment, Transportation, Sustainability, Community Schools, Gifted and Talented and Special Education departments to share about their services and answer questions. Along with free, delicious food from BVSD's School Food Project! Learn more on the BVSD Showcase webpage .
