It's been so great having Brandon in film class this year. It's so much fun talking about the films with him and hearing why he likes them. I'm so glad you're enjoying the class, Brandon, and thank you for your engagement and participation!

Ramon is such a dedicated worker, he has grown throughout the last 2 1/2 years that I've been working with him. He shows up everyday to work, or lets us know when he will be out. I am very appreciative that he is here to work everyday

Eljay is an amazing language learner: he has excelled rapidly and even made the decision, after only 3 years, to take the AP test! And I bet he passes it! He is going on the exchange and I can't wait to see how his German improves while we're there! But even more importantly, he has shown care and compassion beyond his years to me, in what has been a very difficult year. Danke, Eljay: Du bist einfach toll!

Jory has been an amazing leader in Yearbook. His kind demeanor and solid work ethic are a wonderful example for all of the yearbook staff!

The future president of the United States! Dominic is such a leader. He is incredibly respectful, mature beyond his years, and makes the classroom environment safe for all students. He's also a wealth of knowledge on Dyslexia and has taught me so much this semester!

Vince has matured so much in one year. His work ethic and internal drive to be successful have not gone unseen! I'm so proud of who he's becoming. Plus he always keeps the class and myself laughing!

Matthew's a great addition to our film class, and I'm so glad I have him as a student. It's always fun talking about the 49ers (even after a terrible game) or about the films we're watching. Thanks for a great semester!

Joey worked hard in his Financial Algebra class to raise his grade up.. Even though math is a difficult subject for him, he persisted. I want to acknowledge his persistence and hard work. Claire always works hard to demonstrate her learning and dedication. I appreciate all of her analysis in film class this year, and her encouragement for others in the class as everyone works to understand the concepts and the films. Thank you Claire!

Hana is sweet, cooperative, and always willing to help those around her. She is always polite and friendly, and I appreciate her positive attitude, hard work, and friendliness every day.

Nicholas has strong self-advocacy skills and is an active participant in planning for his post-high school life.

Angelica has strong self-advocacy skills and developed a strong work ethic. Angelica has identified her interests and working actively towards achieving the goal. Angelica was successful in her job at the local elementary school and her employer felt she was a positive addition there.

She has come out of her shell and is an amazing person and such a loyal friend.

Fran has been a consistent source of humor and good will this semester in film class. Fran told me he has not watched very many movies before this class, so I'm thrilled that he's enjoying the class and learning a lot! Thanks for always making us laugh, and for a great first semester, Fran!

Henry has made amazing progress in English last year and this first semester. He works hard, does his work, asks great questions and always has the right answer when I ask him about the material.
