Welcome Our Newest WHS Counseling Team Member!
Dear Families and Students,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself! My name is Miss. Amy Uribe and I am the new Sophomore school counselor for Weiss High School. I have 20 years of service in my educational career. I am so excited to be part of the Wolf pack family working with the Sophomore class of 2024. I am here to help students navigate their own self-discovery related to academics and career exploration. I work closely as a team with parents/guardians, teachers, administration, and staff to ensure your child is receiving all the support they need to guide them through these high school years.
I am originally from California and moved to Texas during my college career. I graduated from the University of Texas and I received my undergraduate Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas with a minor in Mathematics and Language Arts. I received my first Masters degree in counselor education with a certification in prek-12 school counseling and a minor in family counseling. I have a Masters in Educational Leadership, Principal at the University of Texas.
I had the opportunity to work in many areas in education as an elementary and secondary Teacher, an Administrator, and Central Office Personnel in Secondary Education. My most rewarding position is to work with children and their families as their Counselor to support and guide my students to an excellent future.

AP Exam Information
If you are NOT enrolled in an AP class, please disregard.
AP Students!
It's time to start thinking about AP exam payments!
ALL AP students who wish to take the AP exam for their AP class(es) must submit a payment by November 5, 2021.
This year, we will be using Total Registration to collect AP Exam Payments. Students must do the following:
1) Register and Pay in Total Registration
2) Join their AP Classes through MyAP
