Madison Upper Elementary Update

March 10 - 14

Good evening!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third trimester, and we’re starting it off with gorgeous weather and the added bonus of an extra hour of daylight.

A quick reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for this Thursday from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM. If you haven’t already, please contact your child’s teacher to secure a time slot. I strongly encourage you to attend—it’s a great opportunity to discuss your child’s academic progress, social development, and behavior. Let's work together to help your child finish strong.

If you are planning to send money to school with your child for the book fair, please send it on their designated library day. For added convenience, the book fair will also be open during parent-teacher conferences.

STUDENT ATTENDANCE

One or two missed days a week might not seem like a lot, but lost time adds up over a student’s educational career. Absences can also affect the whole classroom if the teacher has to slow down learning to help students catch up.
