The Tilles Center is offering Syosset families complimentary tickets to see Mandy Gonzalez in Concert this Friday, October 4 at 8pm. Mandy Gonzalez, who starred on Broadway in Hamilton as Angelica Schuyler, as Elphaba in Wicked, In the Heights as Nina Rosario, and now Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, is performing a brand new show. The vote for the Facilities Improvement Bond is taking place on Tuesday, 10/1 at Syosset High School from 6am to 9pm. The Newcomers' Get Together is at 7:30pm at SHS on 10/1, as well.

As a reminder, school will be closed Thursday, 10/3 and Friday 10/4.

This night will be a great opportunity to meet fellow BH families. 100% of the money raised will go towards our PTA events that we plan for our CHILDREN throughout the year.

"Reflections'' is a National PTA arts recognition program for students in grades K-12. Students may enter in any of the categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Dance Choreography, and Film Production.

Submitted works could result in awards at state and national levels. This year's theme is "Accepting Imperfection". Additionally, each year National PTA challenges students to submit unique theme ideas for the Reflections program. Please click this link to submit for next year's theme competition.

The Syosset Council of PTA’s will be co-hosting a Newcomer’s Get Together with Administration on Tuesday, October 1st at 7:30pm at Syosset High School for parents and guardians of students new to the district. This is a wonderful chance for new families to meet members from central administration as well as PTA presidents and of course other new families in the district. There will be presentations featuring the incredible programming Syosset offers and attendees will have a unique opportunity to pose questions and get some answers directly from administrative representatives from the district while also meeting other new families.

There will be a vote for the Facilities Improvement Bond on October 1st. This link will bring you to a page on the district website that will explain Proposition 1 & Proposition 2. All of the information you may need can be found here.

The Syosset Scholarship Fund is kicking off their annual fundraising drive. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

DEADLINE OCTOBER 4TH.

Each 5th grade student will be gifted a Graduation T-shirt from the Berry Hill PTA. This shirt will be worn for special pictures and activities. Please fill out the below form to ensure your child's name is spelled correctly on the back of the shirt and for correct sizing as well. By filling out this form, you are consenting to your child's name to appear on the t-shirt. Sweatshirts will be available for sale as well at a later date.
