Life Skill of the Month
Fairness: To treat everyone equally, like taking turns, sharing playground equipment, and playing by the rules of the games so everyone feels included and has fun.
Positive Behavior Intervention Focus of the Week
The importance of treating each other with kindness and respect. Lately, we’ve noticed some struggles with keeping our hands and feet to ourselves, as well as using hurtful words. When we’re upset, our first response should never be to hurt someone else, whether through unkind words, pushing, hitting, or kicking.
If you find yourself in a situation where someone is bothering you, please remember to speak up. Use your words to ask them to stop what they're doing or saying. If they listen, you can go back to enjoying your playtime. If they don’t stop, please report it to a nearby staff member who can assist you.
At Reese, we want to create a happy and safe environment for everyone. Let’s work together to keep our school a wonderful place to be!
