Message from the Library:
Parents and Students,
All library books are due next week. If you have any overdue books, your child will be bringing home a list. Please look for them this weekend.
If books are lost, or have been damaged, you will be billed through Synergy no later than June 10.
Thanks for your help tracking down these books!
2024-25 calendar modified to implement elementary plan/collaboration days
As you begin preparing for next school year, please note the newly approved eight non-student attendance days that will be utilized for plan and collaboration time. These days will be vital for ensuring the best possible preparation for our elementary students and key to quality teacher retention during a growing teacher shortage era.
The eight days that will be used as non-student attendance days for plan and collaboration time can be found in the revised 2024-25 calendar on the district website. Please note these days only apply to elementary students.
To address the childcare needs on these days, families will be able to sign up for Y Club Academy (formerly Y Club). Families not currently using Y Club will not be required to sign up for a full year to benefit from childcare on these specific days.

Report cards will be generated and families will be able to view second quarter grades on ParentVUE at the end of the day on June 6, 2024.
How do I view my child’s report card?
Log in on ParentVue

In the left navigation bar, choose REPORT CARD
If you have questions about Standards Based Grading as you view your child’s report card, please review the information found on the Elementary Report Card resource page.
Each new quarter, classroom teachers will publish their next quarter Canvas course. As courses are published, students and families will again be able to see current courses on the Canvas app and Canvas website. For Canvas parent resources, visit www.bluevalleyk12.org/canvas.
Pets on Campus
Please refrain from bringing your pets to the entrance of the school at arrival/dismissal. Please keep pets near the red marquee sign. Some students are very allergic, and others are afraid of animals. Even the friendliest pets can get anxious around a large number of students. We want to make sure we keep everyone safe. Thank you!
