Lincoln Families and Friends,
It's hard to believe that we're already done with September! The school year is off to a fantastic start, and we have a lot of exciting events and activities to look forward to in the coming weeks.

Homecoming Parade this Friday, September 29th! Lincoln students will start the day with a special Teddy Bear parade from our first graders. The first graders have designed and built floats for their stuffed animals and will parade around the school starting at 8:20 am. The OHS Homecoming Parade will take place in the afternoon on Friday. Students will be released from school two hours early, at 12:40 pm so they can attend the parade with their families and friends.

Kindness Retreats for 4th and 5th Graders: Next Week! As part of our commitment to nurturing well-rounded and compassionate individuals, we are excited to announce the Kindness Retreats for our 4th and 5th graders. These retreats will take place next week, Tuesday, October 3rd for our 5th graders and Wednesday, October 4th for the fourth graders.
During the Kindness Retreats, students will participate in a variety of activities designed to foster empathy, teamwork, and compassion. They will learn valuable life skills and develop a deeper understanding of the importance of kindness in our school community and beyond.
Thank you for being a part of our wonderful school community. We look forward to an amazing Homecoming event this Friday and a week of kindness and personal growth during the Kindness Retreats next week. Lifetouch will be at Lincoln for Re-takes October 5th. As a reminder, if you child didn't get their picture taken on September 11th, please have it taken October 5th.

Orders placed on mylifetouch.com will be shipped directly to the student's home.

October is National Bullying prevention month, a day to unite for kindness, acceptance and inclusion. We will be celebrating at Lincoln Tuesday, October 31st by encouraging students to wear orange. Please do not bring your Halloween Costumes to school, save those for your evening events.

Homecoming Parade

The Homecoming Parade will be Friday, September 29th. Students will be dismissed 2-hours early; 12:40. Buses will run at that time. The parade will start at 1:30, and the parade route map is below.
