Tigers Roar on Senior Night
In a normal year, we would be winding down the regular football season and looking ahead to the playoffs. With the season cut short, Saturday was the second game. Tigers took the field showing off their skills and gaining an early lead.
At halftime, families, parents, and friends surrounded and cheered for senior 'night' celebrations. The heartfelt recognition for our Tiger's high school careers signals that these outstanding teens are ready to enter the next phase of their lives--adulthood.
BBCHS Varsity Football team won Saturday's home non-conference game against West Boca Raton High School by a score of 27-13.

Read Woke: Teen Reads for Native American Heritage Month
2020 School Librarian of the Year Cicely Lewis began the “Read Woke” movement to encourage students to read books that “challenge a social norm, give voice to the voiceless, provide information about a group that has been disenfranchised, seek to challenge the status quo” or “have a protagonist from an underrepresented or oppressed group.”
During the month of November, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. This is an opportunity for our students to read about history and culture. Here are six young adult novels that feature Native American voices and perspectives:
