Skyview School of STEM
December 14, 2023
There is still time to donate to our toy drive! Donations will be accepted through next Thursday. Weld Elves is an organization of Weld County First Responders that provides holiday gifts for families in need in our community. Skyview is a collection spot. If you would like to make a new toy donation, please put it in the box located in the front door foyer near the office. Thank you for supporting our community!
How sick is too sick?
It's cold and flu season and we have had many students out with illness. If you are wondering about WeldRE4 policies, please click on the link.

Please be sure that the student has been at least 24 hours with no symptoms and no medications before returning to school. Also, be sure that they are able to fully participate in school activities before returning. If you see a doctor, please get a note from the doctor excusing absences.
Overflowing Lost and Found
Please remind your children to check the lost and found. All items will be donated during Winter Break. We suggest putting the child's name on coats.
Inclement Weather Scenarios
There are three potential winter-weather scenarios in our district: a closure, two-hour delay, and early dismissal. In the case of any of these scenarios, we will send a message through Infinite Campus, as well as post on the district’s website and Facebook page as soon as possible. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date through the Infinite Campus app or website. If you don’t have an Infinite Campus account, visit our Parent Applications Dashboard page for a how-to guide or contact the front office. LEARN MORE

Christmas Parties are coming - Are you RAPTOR approved?
**Visiting/Volunteering? Don't forget your ID**
As part of our ongoing efforts to increase the safety and security of our schools, we will continue to require all visitors and volunteers to be processed through the Raptor Technologies screening system. All non-staff members wishing to access the school building will need to provide a state / government-issued ID at check in. Volunteers must reapply each school year.
Visitors
Visitors typically do not work with students unsupervised and are not engaging with regular and ongoing volunteer activities. Utilizing a state or government issued ID, all visitors will be screened against the registered sex offender database.
Volunteers (including field trip chaperones)
Volunteers are involved on a more regular and ongoing basis and may be alone with students. All volunteers must complete an application and background check that includes a search of the national criminal database, sex offender list, and terrorist watchlist. Once an account has been created and the application has been approved, you will be able to login and review volunteer opportunities at your selected schools. Apply Now (English|Spanish)
