Baldwin UFSD Officially Launches “Future Jewelers Academy”
Partnership with Black in Jewelry Coalition and Natural Diamond Council Allows Students Hands-on Experience with Industry Experts
In collaboration with the Black in Jewelry Coalition and the Natural Diamond Council, Baldwin Union Free School District has officially launched the Future Jewelers Academy at Baldwin High School@Shubert. The innovative program is designed to inspire and prepare students for careers in the jewelry industry, covering everything from benchwork and design to merchandising. An official ribbon-cutting was held this month to commemorate the program's significance for both the district, partnering organizations, and the future jewelry industry workforce. Learn more >>

Students Participate in School2Career Learning Excursion at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York
Students in the Baldwin High School Global Business & Entrepreneurship Academy and Baldwin Middle School "Show Me the Money" and Junior Virtual Enterprise Pre-Academies recently participated in a "Leaving2Learn" at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, helping to enhance their understanding of economic principles in a memorable way. The visit included exploring the Museum and Learning Center, engaging with interactive exhibits, and participating in discussions on topics like monetary policy and financial literacy. Learn more >>
New App Available to Help Monitor Your Child's Device
The Qustodio app allows parents and guardians to see their child’s activity and pause the internet on their school Chromebook after school hours. For no additional cost, the program is designed to help families monitor and manage their children's online activity.

Opening Night of Black History Month Exhibit at the African American Museum
The grand opening of the student art exhibit, crafted in honor of Black History Month, at the African American Museum of Nassau County, will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 6:30 pm. Featuring the artwork of Baldwin students, Baldwin UFSD is currently the only district to partner with the museum for this exhibit. The special gallery will be displayed throughout the month of February. All Baldwin families are encouraged to attend!
