We were very excited to welcome 300+ Grandparents into our building this past week!

In the state of South Carolina, missing two or more days in a month is considered chronically absent. Students who have good attendance receive 25% more reading instruction than chronically absent students. That can add up to several hours a week of extra reading help!

Attendance Reminders

1. Turn in Doctor's Notes within 48 hours of appointment.
   
2. 5 - Parent Notes per year are accepted. These can be used for fever or not feeling well.

We will begin attendance conferences this month for students who already have 5 or more absences. These students will be placed on an Attendance Plan to try to improve attendance. If they are not sick, please have your child to school on time everyday.

All school fees were due this past Tuesday. If you have not paid your school fees, you will be receiving an invoice. Students are not allowed to go on their grade level field trip until all school fees are paid. You can send cash, check, or pay on myschoolbucks.com.

You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.

If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.

The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.

Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.

Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
