Aluminum Panthers ROBOTICS Fundraising Opportunity
Fundraising for travel
"The brand new robotics team #9443 Aluminum Panthers has launched into a tremendously successful rookie season. So successful - that the team will qualify for the regional competition in April in Springfield, MA and is on the verge of qualifying for the World Competition in Houston.
We are beyond thrilled with this success and grateful to the industry partners who have provided grants and sponsorship. However we are in need of support for the students to travel to these amazing competitions. Travel to Houston would be around $2000 per student and we are looking to raise around $15,000 for these competitions. If you are interested in donating to the robotics team's competition travel, or you know a local business who would like to help sponsor the trip, please reach out Assistant Superintendent, Brent Conway bconway@prsd.org. Any donation amount is appreciated.
To learn more about the Aluminum Panthers and the Robotics Team you can check out the team Website https://sites.google.com/prsd.org/frc9443/home or read about their work in the most recent Teaching and Learning Blog - https://bconway56.wixsite.com/pentucketblog/post/robotics-team-is-plugged-in-to-inaugural-frc-season-with-first
