Online Annual Update 2024-2025 School Year
Naperville School District 203 will open its Online Annual Update for the 2024-2025 school year for all returning preschool students and students entering 1st -13th grades. The Online Annual Update will be open May 1st – 23rd. To access the Online Annual Update, you will need your Campus Parent username and password. If you do not have a Campus Parent Account, contact Parent Support at parentsupport@naperville203.org.

Parent/Guardian E-Learning Survey
In advance of our district E-Learning plan renewal and at the request of the Board of Education, we are asking for input from parents/guardians via the survey below.
This anonymous survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete depending on the number of students in your household. The survey will be open until Friday, April 26.
You only need to complete the survey once for your family.
2024 Spring NWEA Map Assessments
This May, grades kindergarten through eighth will be administered the NWEA Map Growth reading and mathematics assessments. This test is administered in August/September, January and May to evaluate student academic performance and growth throughout the academic year.

All teams will showcase their companies from 6-6:45 PM before final pitches. Attendees get to cast a Wild Card Vote to determine additional teams to present a final pitch on stage. Special Education Services for Parents of Home-Schooled Students
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, Naperville 203 will hold a Zoom meeting from 10:00 am-10:30 a.m. for non-public schools and 11:00 am -11:30 a.m. to discuss the district’s plan for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools or who are home-schooled within the Naperville District 203 boundaries. RSVP to attend is required by May 10th.
Herbicide Notification
As a result of legislation, Public Act 91-0525 and Public Act 91-0099, schools are required to provide written notification to all parents/guardians of students and staff before such Herbicide application. This Talk203 item qualifies as such.
The fertilizer and broadleaf weed control application at all District Elementary, Junior High, High School and Administrative sites will be performed by Trugreen Lawn Care during the week of April 13th, April 18th and May 2nd, weather permitting.
Applicators will avoid dates/times when scheduled activities are to take place on school grounds.

It's not too late to registration for 2024 Summer Learning!
The deadline to registration for the first semester of summer school (June 3-21) is May 15, 2024. Registration will continue to remain open for the second semester of summer school (June 24-July 12) through June 12, 2024. Please click below for more detailed information, dates, and locations.

Building A Passion Breakfast
On Tuesday, April 16, over 350 business, community and elected leaders, Naperville District 203 leadership, parents and members of the community attended the 31st annual Building a Passion Breakfast to get the inside scoop on the impact their support of the Naperville Education Foundation (NEF) has on student learning.
Attendees saw videos showcasing the impact their gifts to NEF have on Naperville 203 students, enjoyed student artwork from all 23 schools and read news stories about NEF’s impact in the event newspaper, The NEF Post.

Naperville 203 AAPI Heritage Month Community Event
Thursday, May 2, 2024 - 6:00 - 8:30 PM - Kennedy Junior High, 2929 Green Trails Dr., Lisle
This year’s Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month Community Event will engage the community in conversations about mental wellness as well as showcase the rich cultural heritage of the AAPI community. This event will include a series of engaging and informative panel discussions including community leaders and Naperville 203 high school students. For elementary students, there will be crafts and story time featuring author Rich Lo and a dance workshop for secondary students. All members of the Naperville 203 community and the surrounding community (adults and students) are welcome to come together to learn and celebrate the contributions and diverse cultures of the AAPI community.

2025 Trips for Current Naperville 203 8th - 11th Grade Students
Current 8th-11th grade students have a unique opportunity to travel to the Galápagos Islands over Spring Break in 2025! This eco-driven tour offers students a firsthand learning experience of one of the most fragile ecosystems in our world. Students will discover these islands and follow in Charles Darwin’s footsteps, complete with swimming, snorkeling, and hiking alongside exotic animals! Questions? Middle School Parent and Student Surveys, High School Student Surveys
Your input is needed on the Power of Choice campaign! The Power of Choice is a project of 360 Youth Services and works collaboratively with Districts 203 & 204 to provide campaigns for youth, parents and the schools. One campaign is focused on supporting parents in talking with their middle schooler about not using alcohol; one is focused on educating 6th to 8th grade students to correct misconceptions regarding e-cigarette/vaping; and another focused on supporting high school students in making healthy choices regarding alcohol and other substance use. The Power of Choice is asking middle school parents, middle school youth, and high school teens to participate in one of the three quick surveys below, to provide feedback regarding where they receive information. The deadline to take these surveys is by Tuesday, April 30.
