We have had an amazing year of learning so far with our Cubs!

We are coming into the season for the third round of state testing for all our students. Students in grades Kindergarten through 5th will participate in both Reading and Math tests as well as 5th grade taking a Science test during the months of April and May. Our students have been working very hard to learn everything that our state benchmarks require and we are excited for them to show how much they have grown from the beginning of the year until now.

Attached to this newsletter, you will find the calendar showing all the dates for testing. Testing will begin after student arrival on testing days. Attendance on testing days is important so students can test with their teacher and class in a familiar environment. The calendar also shows what days there will be a lunch schedule change. That change will impact 3rd -5th grades. 3rd grade will be switching lunch with 4th and 5th grade on their testing day to allow for us to provide students with the amount of time needed to take their tests without feeling rushed.

Please call the front office to verify your child’s lunch time if you would like to eat with them on testing days.
