Providence Children's Film Festival Survey
Providence Children's Film Festival, which has presented quality international and independent family film programming to Rhode Islanders for the past seven years, is assessing the impact of their recently updated Film Hub.
The Film Hub now makes it easier than ever for librarians, teachers, parents and youth to access resources to discover, explore and engage with film. Please take 4-5 minutes to answer this confidential librarian survey to help us know how we can better serve you. Leave your contact information to be entered to win a film for your library or passes to a 2017 Festival film! The deadline for completing the survey is November 12.
Many thanks to those of you who helped create this survey. Thank you all in advance for sharing your feedback!

Children’s Independent Film Discussion: Join the PCFF Film Jury Night
Join the Providence Children’s Film Festival for this unique real-world workshop experience to learn about children’s independent films by participating as an actual juror for the 2016 PCFF. Librarians will hone their film discussion skills with members of the public by sharing critical comments after each short film (kids go first). You will be surprised to see what is “obviously good” to some reviewers is “downright disagreeable” to others…BUT be ready to explain. Great opportunity to think about new ideas for programming events that increase access to thoughtful films and exercise critical thinking skills and in a fun way. Popcorn for all.
