Invitation to PACTFUL Presentations
Parents and Students,
We're excited to invite you to our PACTFUL Presentations on Thursday, April 23rd at 8:00 AM, where our innovative young minds will showcase their solutions for creating meaningful social change.
As part of the Jacob Teen Innovation Challenge—a global competition for students aged 13-18—our participants have embraced design thinking methodologies to develop creative solutions addressing the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. From tackling climate action to reducing inequalities, these projects represent our students' commitment to building a more sustainable and equitable world.
Come witness how our students have transformed from learners to changemakers, developing practical innovations that address real-world problems in our community and beyond. Their presentations will demonstrate not only their technical skills and creativity but also their passion for positive impact.
We look forward to sharing this inspiring morning with you!

Spotlight
Young Investors
MEA senior Christiana Sung was recently featured in The New York Times! Her insights on how young investors navigate market volatility appeared in the Business section article "Worried About Stock Market Swings? These Young Investors Aren’t." Christiana is happy that MEA was mentioned by name in the article, and would like to take advantage of this opportunity to promote her club, the Young Investors Society. "Please don't let it die next year," she says.

We want to identify teachers in schools across San Diego County who have gone above and beyond to give their students a memorable and unmatched educational experience – and we need your help!
We want to make this recognition a surprise, so we rely on colleagues, parents, or friends, to help make this happen – and not to tell the nominee in advance – this way, it’s a true surprise.
