DISTRICT INFORMATION
i-Ready Results Available
i-Ready is an integral part of our curriculum for reading and mathematics. It enables your student's teacher(s) to identify their specific needs, personalize their learning, and track their progress throughout the school year. By meeting your student exactly where they are, i-Ready empowers your teacher(s) to enhance your student's learning gains. How to access my students' results.
Wentzville WOW Factor Award
Has your child's teacher made a significant impact on their education and life? Do you want to recognize a staff member who goes above and beyond? We're rolling out a new way to honor our staff, and it only takes a few minutes to do. Nominate a teacher or employee for a Wentzville Wow Factor Award anytime throughout the school year to let them know they are making a difference!
Inclement Weather and AMI Update
As we approach the colder months, we want to re-share the District communication that has information regarding the WSD's inclement weather procedures for the 2024-25 school year. This year, snow days one and two will be traditional snow days. After our second snow day this year, we will switch to AMI (alternative methods of instruction) for snow days three through seven. Read more on what to expect this winter here. View AMI assignments here.

Having problems or have questions about the new FOCUS app? Check this link out to see if the answer is there; if not, please contact our office.
Attendance
Our goal is to have students here at school. We do not expect kids to be here 100% of the time, we understand sickness happens and things come up. Our goal is that your child is here at least 95% of the time. Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. School attendance also helps students learn how to interact with others, get along, and be good citizens. Each classroom has set an attendance goal with fun incentives and we are doing the same here in the office. If students are here 95% of the time during first semester, they will be able to enter a raffle and one lucky student will get to shop online and select a pair of Jordans. Every student who has 95% or greater will also go home with a small token thanking them for getting to school!
Volunteer Paperwork
Volunteer paperwork can be found here. Please remember to send in a copy of the front of your driver's license with your Form A & B
- Volunteers must register with the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR). It provides a more extensive background check than our Raptor system, and is needed for volunteers who spend more individual time with students than our visitors.
- One-time, lifetime fee of $15.25. It is the responsibility of the volunteer to cover this one-time, lifetime fee. The online registration process can be found at FCSR-BSEES - MO.gov. (NOTE: This registration process CANNOT be completed on a mobile browser/device.)
- Once FCSR online registration is complete, you must submit a paper WSD Volunteer Registration Form A and B to the school office. When you arrive in a WSD building to turn in your forms, you will be asked to scan your ID and complete the Raptor visitor management system’s process as part of your volunteer registration. If you send your forms in to school with your child, or send them to the school office via email, please include a copy of your valid personal ID.
Please note, the wait time for the FCSR Registration to be processed and for the District to be notified can be up to four weeks. We recommend completing this process as early as possible.
