Read Across Mont Vernon!
We are celebrating literacy in many ways this year at MVVS! During the week of April 21st, we will continue the tradition of reading across Mont Vernon. The week will be a spirit week with themes each day (see above).
- On Tuesday, April 22nd, we will welcome students from SHS to read to our students. Thank you Sabers for taking the time to celebrate literacy with us!
- On Thursday, April 24th, we will welcome guest readers from across our schools and community to MVVS!

Student Art Show!
This May, MVVS students will have the opportunity to showcase their learning and growth through the NH-SAS assessments. These assessments provide valuable insights into student progress and help us continue to support their academic success. Mont Vernon Village School AttireThe MVEA is running a fundraiser from April 11 through April 22, 2025. This fundraiser is going toward a scholarship for a graduating Mont Vernon Souhegan senior entering college in the fall of 2026.The attire is available for students and adults.

Designing For 3D Club!
Designing for 3D Club:
Designing for 3D club allows students to explore a wide scope of media such as felt, wire and air dry clay to create student directed sculptures. Brief lessons on tool usage and techniques will be taught at the beginning of class and then students create a project of their choice with the provided materials utilizing learned skills. Examples of suggested projects include felted animals, wire jewelry and clay vessels. Grades: 4-6
Max students per class- 12
Time: Fridays @ 2:15-3:30pm
Sessions meet: Fridays- May 9, 16, 23, 30 and June 6 (5 sessions)

Summer Camp
Registration for Camp Souhegan at Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley is open!
The 10-week program runs from June 16 through August 22, 2025 at the Club in Milford, NH. The Camp will be closed on Friday, July 4th. Sign up by the week or by the day. Early Bird rates ($225 a week) are available until March 31, 2025. After that, the rates are $275 a week. The daily rate is $65 a day. See svbgc.org for information about available financial aid or to register.
Each week of Camp Souhegan has a special theme, and a wide variety of field trips are offered, including a Fisher Cats game, Cheshire Children's Museum, Stone Zoo, Boston Museum of Science, Squam Lake, Wallis Sands State Park and more! Drop off begins at 7:00 am, structured camp programming runs from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm and pick up time is 6:00 pm. Campers have lots of nature-inspired, outdoor play opportunities, and free swim and swim lessons are available through our partnership with Keyes Pool.
Camp Souhegan is designed for youth in K-10th grades. All rising kindergarteners who wish to attend Camp Souhegan must be at least 4 years and 8 months old at their start date.
To learn more, drop by an Open House on Saturday, March 15, 2025 or Saturday, May 3rd, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, at 56 Mont Vernon Street, Milford, NH.

We are happy to announce that the MVVS kitchen will now be serving A La Carte snacks at lunches beginning on Monday!
