Teacher Appreciation Week
May 6-10
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the amazing educators who make Kewaskum Elementary School such a special place for our students.
Our educators are not just teachers; they are mentors, role models, and champions for our students' success. Day in and day out, they go above and beyond to create engaging learning experiences, foster a supportive classroom environment, and inspire a love for learning in our students.
Their dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our students' education do not go unnoticed. They invest countless hours in planning, teaching, and supporting our students, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, creativity, and compassion that our educators bring to their classrooms each day. They truly make a difference in the lives of our students, shaping them into confident, curious, and compassionate individuals.
Join us in celebrating and thanking our amazing educators for their outstanding contributions to our school community. Your dedication and commitment are deeply appreciated, and we are so fortunate to have you as part of the Kewaskum Elementary School family.

Important Information
Traffic Flow Reminder: Reminder that Second St/Reigle Dr area is not an entrance into the parking lot of KES it is only an exit from the KES parking lot. All families picking up or dropping off students near the back lot should be in a designated parking space or properly in the carline. This is to avoid any accidents in the back parking lot and for student safety. Please be prepared for staff to ask you to move to a safe location if you are not in one.
5th grade celebration: Families of 5th grade students you are invited to join us for a special celebration honoring our 5th grade students at Kewaskum Elementary School. The celebration will begin promptly at 2:50 PM outside along the chalk lines on the playground on Friday May 31, 2024. During the event, our students will participate in a memorable walk of celebration. Following the walk, families are invited to stay and enjoy some activities and socializing with their child. In the event of rain, the celebration will be moved inside the building, ensuring that the festivities continue rain or shine. On the day of the event, you can enter through the gated playground area to find a spot to stand and observe the walk.
New Parking Lot: The KES parking lot will be under construction beginning June 7th. We are excited that the school board has approved changes to the parking lot to make it more safe and easier for everyone to find a spot to park and maneuver.
School Supply Lists: The 24-25 school supply list will be ready to view at the end of May.
Technology Update: Keeping our passwords private and our accounts secure is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, all current 5th grade and 8th grade student passwords will be changing on July 8th. This change is necessary as 6th grade and 9th grade students have increased password security requirements. In late June, an email will be sent out to student email accounts containing their new password. We kindly ask that you remind your child to write it down in a safe place for future reference. Once the password changes are made, your child will not be able to use their current password to access their accounts.
Officer Roth: We are happy to announce that Officer Aaron Roth has joined the Kewaskum School District as our new School Resource Officer full time - effective Monday, April 22. Following a thorough interview process in March, Officer Roth was selected to become our SRO beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. Recent events have accelerated the timeline for his start.
