This year Gemini is proud to announce, Sara Russo, as the Volunteer of the Year.

Mrs. Russo serves in many roles at Gemini. She is our PTO Vice President and has also served as parent liaison and room mom. Sara's outgoing, friendly, warm nature brings a smile to everyone at Gemini, and we are so grateful to have her on our team.

This is a friendly reminder that last week we sent information about Re-Enrollment for the next school year in Thursday folders. The Sign In/Out Card is a school form that needs to be completed and returned to school as soon as possible. We have a limited supply of these cards, so please keep them safe.

Annual Re-Enrollment will be available in July through your FOCUS Parent Portal account.

Beginning Monday, August 26th, there will be one day a week that parents can sign up, in advance. Please include your child in the number of people you are signing up. • Parents must be on time for their child’s scheduled lunch time. • Parents must communicate with their child’s teacher that they will be coming to lunch on that day. • Parents must sign in at the front office and will be escorted to Center Court and supervised if they are not a registered volunteer. Registered volunteers do not need to be escorted or supervised during their lunch in Center Court. • Parents may only have lunch with their child. • We strongly suggest that younger siblings stay home as we will have limited seating available. • Please be mindful of time, your child will need to report back to the cafeteria before the end of their lunch period. Parents will sign out in the front office.

The last day of Morning Mile is Thursday, May 22 - only 9 days left to reach your goal!

For the remainder of the school year Morning Mile will begin at 7:05 so kids have some extra time to get laps before the end of the year.

Jetstars mopped the floor at this weekend's Run for the Gecko 5k picking up the award for third place school team! Congratulations team members Milou Adler, Audrey Butler, Liam Colovic, Geneva and Soren Daut, Malik, Zaid, and Nour McGroarty, Evelyn and Eliana Mihlebach, Shae Neshek, and Alva Sebastian! Special shout out to age group award winners Milou Adler, Malik McGroarty, Evelyn Mihlebach, and Shae Neshek. Results aren't finalized but it looks like this awesome turnout helped push Team Gemini into third place in the series standing, hopefully bringing home a $250 check to support the Morning Mile. Way to go everyone!!!
