Board approves new permanent Superintendent contract

The Board of Education has unanimously voted to approve and officially onboard Dr. Patrick Pizzo as our new permanent Superintendent. Dr. Pizzo is a highly respected educational leader with a wealth of experience in school administration and a deep commitment to fostering student success and community engagement. Known for his innovative approach and strategic vision, he has a proven track record of enhancing educational quality and operational efficiency, building collaborative, inclusive environments, and driving positive outcomes.


Dr. Jeff Gorman will continue to serve as Interim Superintendent and collaborate closely with Dr. Pizzo to ensure a smooth transition. Dr. Pizzo will officially assume the role on January 1, 2025, working alongside Dr. Gorman to minimize any impact on the district's critical ongoing activities. We are excited to welcome Dr. Pizzo and look forward to his impactful leadership in our district.
