Kindergarten Information

Week 2 (September 3 - 6):

Tuesday 9/3 - Only students with last names ending in A - M attend school. (8:00am to 2:35pm)

Wednesday 9/4 - Only students with last names ending in N - Z attend school. (8:00am to 2:35pm)

Thursday 9/5 and Friday 9/6 - ALL students attend school!!! (8:00am to 2:35pm)

In lieu of a Supply List we are planning a Field Trip in October to supplement our Plants and Animals unit. The approximate cost will be 20.00 per student.

Starting at 7:30 if a Kindy Student wants breakfast they will enter through Door 7 - Cafe (Students Only),

At 7:50, Kindy teachers will come out of Door 7 to greet any families and gather students to enter Cafe before heading to their classrooms.

If you come after 8:05, please come through door 1 (Other teachers will be helping to guide students to classrooms.)

Please note: ONLY Students can enter building.

Kindergarten dismisses earlier than the rest of the school. For the first week we will start at 2:30 to ensure students and families understand dismissal and stay safe. Kindergarten will dismiss out of Door 18 (Fenced in area) with their Classroom Teacher. Teachers will be checking to make sure they are going with their guardian, prior to releasing the students.

If your child goes to Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc, or YMCA - they will be dismissed with busses and walked down by a para-educator to ensure safety.

Please park on Arlington Street and walk to dismissal locations. No Parking in Staff Parking

If you have other children in the building, please communicate with teachers about dismissal plans.
