3D Snowflakes!
This was the culminating activity to the Science Behind Snowflakes unit. Before printing snowflakes, students had to learn "What is 3D Printing?". We watched and heard and felt 3D printed objects. We learned about the four main parts of a 3D printer. The X, Y, and Z axes, build plate, the filament - PLA, and the extruder.
