Happy Friday! Happy Fall! Happy October! It has been another great week at Phalen Virtual Leadership Academy. Did you get t watch our Pet Parade? If not, you are in for a treat. I will warn you to turn the volume down if you also have a pet, as they may go wild when they hear the other pets!
We completed our charter renewal classroom visits, meetings and presentations on Thursday, October 3, 2024. It was great to see our scholars and teachers shine as they always do. A huge, "thank you" to everyone who completed the parent survey for our charter renewal. We appreciate you for sharing your feedback and trusting us with your scholar(s).
Next week is also a busy week and WE get to connect with YOU!!! YAY! Have you signed up for Parent Teacher Conferences? If not, today is the deadline to ensure you get a spot that works best for you.
Monday, October 7, 2024 is a full school day with teachers for all scholars. Tuesday, October 8, 2024 are Parent Teacher Conferences. We are excited to connect with you, and please remember that your scholar is also invited to their conference. Wednesday, October 8th -Friday, October 10th is FALL BREAK!
Registration is still open for the 2024-2025 Academic School Year. Please share your success at PLA Virtual with friends, family, neighbors and organizations, as we may be a great school choice for them as well. Our registration link is below. We appreciate all the referrals that have been shared with us by YOU. They are proud to give your name as the person who referred them, and we also sing your praises in return as we appreciate all of our families.
We look forward to seeing your scholar(s) on Monday, October 7, 2024 for week 9 of our school year! Our Grades 6-12 scholars begin their school day at 8:00am and our Grades K-5 scholars begin at 8:30am.
