Dear Parents/Carers,
Last Friday, a group of Year 1 pupils competed against the other schools in our Trust as part of our PAT Games programme for Multi Skills and I am pleased to announce that they won the competition! The pupils received a certificate and a medal in recognition of their achievements. Well done to all who took part.
This week, I was thrilled to be invited into the Year 1 classroom to listen to the pupils share their writing with me. The pupils have been working hard to write a character description of The Rainbow Fish

As the weather takes a turn, please ensure that children have suitable clothing for outdoor PE. Pupils will be able to remain in PE kits to walk home if their lessons are at the end of the day. Plain black jogging bottoms/leggings and plain black sweat tops/hoodies are acceptable.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Yours Sincerely,

Mental Health Day
Thursday 10th October is Mental Health Day! Children can wear their pyjamas/comfies for a £1 donation. We will also be holding a Rainbow Bun Sale and will be very grateful for any colourful cakes that our budding Larks Hill bakers would like to bring on Thursday Morning. Children can bring in up to £1 for the bun sale, with each bun costing 50p. All proceeds from the Pyjama day and Bun Sale will go towards new library books promoting good mental health.
