NB Friday Update

• Check below for an update about Summer Reading/Math.

• Please remember that Tuesday 6/17 and Wednesday 6/18 are early dismissal days.

• Make sure you order your School Supply Kit by next week if you are interested.

• Cla pout Procedures: Each year we clap out our fifth graders before the final dismissal on 6/18. Students will line the hallways and clap as the fifth graders take their final walk through the building. Full-day preschool students will be dismissed at 11:50am from their usual doors. Fifth grade parents should line up on either side of the blacktop on the side of the building by the basketball court. All other K-5 students will be in the building, clapping out the fifth graders. Fifth grade students will come out the door by the blacktop at about 12:30pm. Following the release of the fifth graders, all other students will exit through their usual dismissal doors.

If you have a child that is turning 5 on or before October 1, 2025 and you are planning to enroll in kindergarten for the fall, it's imperative to complete the registration paperwork as soon as possible. The district is currently planning sectioning and school assignments for incoming kindergarteners. We need all. younger siblings registered to secure school placement with older siblings. If you have friends and neighbors that need to register their children, please encourage them to do so as quickly as possible. Registration information can be found on our website. Kindergarten Orientation will be held at each elementary school on June 5th at 9:00 A.M.
