Muskego Lakes Principal
Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
Here at Muskego Lakes, we work hard daily to live out our mission of "Connecting Hearts & Minds Through Acceptance, Empowerment, and Achievement." It's what drives our staff's actions, thoughts, and plans as we work to connect with your child and help them succeed. This week, we took time to connect with kids and learn how they feel accepted, empowered and work to achieve their goals. We wanted to share what we learned and heard from the kids:
- "I have a say in my learning, and that's cool."
- "I know that all the staff cares about me."
- "I feel seen and heard."
- "My teachers know I can do it, and I believe in myself more."
- "The goals in the classroom are clear, so I know what I am trying to do."
- "My teachers make me feel good about myself."
- "There is something for everyone here. I love that I get to try new things."
- "I like the choice I get in my learning, it makes me care more."
- "In class, we have goals, and it feels so good to meet them."
- "I come to school because I like being surrounded by people that love me and support me."
- "All my friends and teachers accept me for me."
- "No matter what, I know I can try something, and people will cheer me on"
- "My teachers know how to push me as a learner, and I have met my goals because of that."
We love that our students feel this way, have these connections, and feel successful here at school. In addition, we appreciate your partnership in working with us to ensure that your child feels accepted, empowered, and continues to have the support to achieve their goals.
With love,
Rachel Rydzewski & Nancy Pasch

Assignment Notebooks
A school-wide expectation this year is that all students have and use an assignment notebook. This expectation is to model and help students with organization, planning & prioritizing, and task completion.
Students were issued an assignment notebook at the start of school. If a student forgets their assignment notebook one day, don't worry; a staff member will provide a paper copy to use. However, if a student loses their assignment notebook, they will need to purchase a new one. New assignment notebooks are available in the main office to be purchased for $5.00.
