Esteem Families,
As I reflect on all that we have accomplished together, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your unwavering support, partnership, and trust have been instrumental in creating a vibrant and nurturing environment for our students.
Your dedication to your children's education, your involvement in our school community, and your encouragement of our teachers and staff make a profound difference. Together, we are shaping bright futures and fostering a love of learning that will last a lifetime. I appreciate the love, care and dedication of our families - your endless hours supporting your child at home, volunteering at school, chaperoning, reading, organizing, preparing treats for staff, and doing whatever was necessary to ensure student success.
As you may know by now, due to personal reasons I have decided to step down as Lents Assistant Principal. My last day at Lent will be on Friday, January 24th. I wish the best to each of you, and will cherish every moment that I had here with all of you. Thank you for all that you do to support our school and, most importantly, your children. It has been a privilege to work alongside such an incredible community. ¡Mil gracias!
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Lent Staff for your warm-demanding ways - your diligence, passion and commitment to the academic, social and emotional growth of our students. Your thoughtfulness, patience and compassion create welcoming and nurturing learning environments. Your high expectations and unwavering belief in our students create both joyful and academically rigorous learning spaces. It's inspiring to see each and every one of you in action each and every day!
A final word to Lent Students: Thank you for all your hard work. I have been honored to be your Assistant Principal. I beam with pride every time I see you speak up for what is right; every time you make mistakes, take risks and share your learning; every time I see you taking care of one another and looking out for each other. You keep us laughing and young at heart. I am grateful for your joy, astute insights and amazing talents. I will miss you all greatly!
Sincerely,
Mr. Interian

SCHOOL COUNSELOR CORNER
All 5th graders are participating in a “Climate Action Leaders” class this year! Each month, a new group of students from each 5th grade class will be meeting with counselor LeAnne for 4 weeks to plan and implement a mini climate project for the school. This month, leaders have decided to create poster visuals and use them to teach the “reduce/reuse/recycle” process to younger grades. They will then be displayed in the hallways to increase awareness about better waste management. Go 5th grade leaders!
