Montbello Middle Family Updtate
October 18th, 2024
We still need your help (but things are getting better)
Parents, just another reminder that we still need your help. While behaviors ARE improving, we still need your assistance in communicating with your students about engaging in unsafe behaviors after school, specifically at the park near the Montbello Recreation Center. Most of our students are doing the right thing, but please continue to have those reminder conversations.
Thank you for your support!
Attendance
If your student will be coming in late or will be absent, please call the Attendance Line ( 720-424-0820) and leave a message. Thank you!
Your Voice/Tu Voz
The DPS Your Voice/Tu Voz Family Survey is open now through Friday, Nov. 1. Responses to the survey are critical as they inform decisions on how we can better serve your children. Thank you in advance for completing this survey while juggling all the other priorities that come with being a busy parent or guardian!
New this year: Based on feedback we heard last year, families with multiple children in different DPS schools now only need to complete one survey for all of their children!
Trunk or Treat Reminder
Montbello Middle School and RMP will host our annual school community event, Trunk or Treat on this upcoming Friday October 25th from 5pm - 7pm.
This is a fun event for all the families in our community.
If you would like to participate in this event in any way, we would love to have you.
If you would like to decorate your car trunk and pass out candy, volunteer to help set up or clean up, or donate candy we would greatly appreciate it.
Hopefully everyone has RSVP's for this event!
The Far Northeast Coummunity Hub
The Far Northeast Community Hub (FNE) manages 42 Denver Public Schools in the area, including our base school, John H. Amesse Elementary (JHAE). The primary objective of this community hub is to provide support services to DPS families and offer a diverse range of classes and workshops conveniently located near their residences.
The FNE Hub is also an active partner of JHAE by supporting all types of school activities and projects that directly impacts our families and their students.
This Wednesday
As a reminder, this Wednesday, October 23rd is a Full Day. Students will be released at 3:50pm.
