Principal's Message
Parents,
It was another great week at SCMS. Teaching and learning was at a premium. Thank you for attending Curriculum Night. Our teachers and staff are always excited to see you and talk about the year ahead.
For Planning purposes:
Wednesday, September 25th is an early release day for students. Teachers will participate in District-wide Professional Development. School will be dismissed at 12:30pm.
Progress reports will be available October 8th and October 9th.
October 3rd and 4th are teacher workdays and there will be no school for students.
All front office processes and practices will be sent in a Parent Square message in the coming days. We are reviewing processes and will be communicating to you how we would like to function in order to serve our students the best way. There will be no big changes, but we are reviewing all things in order to ensure the epitome of service and safety.

Does your SCMS family need help? SHOCKERS Care is an outreach committee of the SCMS PTO that offers support through our critical needs fundraising donations. Families needing assistance with such things as: meals, clothing, school supplies, etc. can contact their school counselor. This confidential conversation with the counselor will help our PTO provide donations anonymously to families in need. Please contact your grade level counselor for more information –

Tuesday, September 24 is Fall Picture Day! Everyone gets photographed on Fall Picture Day for the Yearbook and for PowerSchool. Students will get photographed during their math class.
