CES Happenings
Dear CES Family,
Hello to all of you! Couple of short items for you this week, but there is plenty to read about down below. First, a huge thanks to Chris McNeill for helping us re-string the rope for our flag pole. The front of a school just isn't complete without the American flag. He stopped by this week and helped us out in a big way. We're grateful for the help! Thanks for the lift. :)
The CES Read-A-Thon gets underway next week. It's a great way to emphasize reading with our student and is also just a lot of fun. We kick it with a Dr. Seuss dress-up day on Monday and special guest readers! It's always a lot of fun.
Sincerely,
Scott Cory

National School Breakfast Week!
National School Breakfast Week (March 3-7) highlights the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in helping students stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. Research shows that kids who eat breakfast may perform better in school, have improved concentration, and even experience better overall health.
Did you know? All students in Plumas County can eat breakfast for FREE at school! That means every student has the opportunity to start their day with a balanced meal—no cost, no hassle.
Join us in celebrating the School Breakfast Program, which provides our students county-wide with the fuel they need to succeed. Encourage your student to take advantage of this healthy, delicious, and FREE way to start the day!
