Bristol Township School District
September 2024
Superintendent's Letter
Dear Bristol Township School Community,
I hope everyone had a great start to the school year. It is wonderful to have students back in our schools and to see our programs in academics, athletics, activities and the arts back in action.
I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to the entire staff of the Bristol Township School District for working hard to ensure a positive and supportive opening of the school year. The District Administrative Team takes the time to go to all the schools for arrival and departure for the first couple of days, and it was great seeing all our staff members go above and beyond to make sure that children and parents felt welcome and comfortable as we began the new school year.
I would also like to thank everyone for coming out to our Back to School Nights, which are always exciting evenings as parents get to meet the educators who will have such an impact on their children’s lives. We do our best to make sure that our schools are places with an inviting atmosphere where parents can feel welcome. It is our goal that at the end of these evenings, parents will believe that their children are in schools staffed by hard-working, enthusiastic professionals who truly care about their students.
A special thanks to the Truman Think Tank that created the Truman Family Night, which served as a revised and revamped Back to School Night for the Truman School Community. That was a very innovative and progressive new conception of a Back to School Night created by our staff that was well-received by all involved. The Class of 2025 also celebrated and reflected with their classmates at the Senior Sunrise and their final year at Truman commences.
The leaves are already changing color as we move into October, and we are excited to see what our school community accomplishes this autumn.
Please enjoy our September newsletter.
Sincerely,
Michael Nitti
